Plowed a trashcan Options

ok you know those big plastic trashcans that you put out on the street in front of your house on trash days? well....its raining and im parked along the curb in front of a friends house and the trashcan is behind me along the curb (not knowing this) so my friend in front of me decides to leave and i throw it into reverse and floor it to back up and bam!....i look behind me and the trashcan is literally off the ground, bounces down the street and hits a miata...we get out of our cars and are like holy **** and the alarm on the miata goes off...so the dude comes out of his house like WTF is going on and we both look over the cars no damage at all..this must have been like a protection act of god...absolutely no scratches on anything....just wanted to share and embarassing moment and watch out for trashcans!

haha! a miata...that reminds me...I saw a silver convertible miata today w/ one of those HUGE parkbench / shopping cart looking wings on it...WTF? soo uuugggly! the wing was 10 times wider than the car haha

HAha..I dunno...he must have heard your trash can story & got it for protection
...actually I think he had a trash can for a muffler, I could here him coming from a mile away lol

floored it to back up? eh?

thats not so bad though, I drag my frunt skirt every time I leave or enter my drive way (every f-ing time) its always a real loud grinding sound no mater how careful I drive, all because my nabors take up all the street space (I live on the end of a street, its a big oval)

ok, i spotted 2 problems here. 1) you dont floor it to back up and 2) if you do, look behind you first... gj tho on the garbage can, i give it a 7 out of 10 stars

haha well my friend loves to get in his car and just floor it out of the neighborhood so i wanted to catch up and for some stupid ass reason floored it in reverse what an idiot am i

Every time some car with a huge wing pulls up next to me I roll down my window and give them directions to the airport.

Now if you had a park bench/shopping cart spoiler you would have had 6.5 g's of downforce when you floored it in reverse. Your back end would have dropped enough for the can to harmlessly bounce over your car and it would have saved you the embarassment of apologizing to a Miata owner.

And did you stop to think of what would have happened if there was a child in the garbage?
