Hi all,

I have been looking forward to lowering my ss-3 celica but to my surprise I started to call a couple of my local parts shops(I live in Ireland) and they all tell me either its not possible to lower SS suspension or that the parts have been discontinued(Fensport).

Can anyone suggest where/how much/opinions/part numbers on springs-coilovers

Thanks

aren't the springs the same on SS and Macphersons? If so you just use normal lowering springs.

Afraid not.

They're still churning out TRD springs for ST205s, so something must be possible for a SSIII

I had a st202 with superstrut suspension, lowered it with toyo springs (40mm). You can replace the springs (but is not advisable), but you cant just replace the shocks. I believe that TRD has a nice kit for the celica's with superstrut suspension. Tein only had kits for celica's without superstrut (at least around here).

PS, the superstrut suspension (together with LSD) was a option around here, so if you have a st202 it doesnt mean you got superstrut suspension.

SSIIs had optional superstruts.
SSIIIs were standard.
