What do the numbers that are displayed on the safc screen as pressure represent. Is it manifold pressure? I assume its that pressure the map sensor is reading right?
I ask because i was wondering if that number would be the same number on a boost gagues. Is the pressure reading off the safc from the map and if so can i use that number and thus the safc as a boost gauge? |

when you are in vac, it reads vac, displayed in metric equivlents.
in boost it reads boost, again, in metric. READ THE MANUAL URBAN, ITS ALL THERE IN BLACK AND WHITE. you can change the display to read up to 3 or 4 things at once. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

I understand that its reading vac and presure and what units its measure in. My question is where are the readings coming from.
For instance if im turboed it would be reading boost pressure rite? Im assuming that its reading pressure and vac off the map sensor right? this would me that it acts as a boost gauge too? I have my display reading the max four. correction(not being used) throttle %, revs, and pressure. its really cool. even if i dont use all of them right now. |
