Has anyone made a nice looking sub box for 2 12" out of either fibreglass or MDF where they still have access to the spare tire?

i'm going to make my box so that it's removable...either i will be able to break it down, or it will be small enough to slip out of the hatch. either that i will make one like soundslut and just make a fiberglass housing for it to sit on the top of the trunk as a trunk cover. both will be removable.
...i don't know, i haven't done it yet, but no matter what i will make the spare accessible. i'll keep you posted when i get it done. good luck! -------------------- this is what happens when your little brother is better at photoshop than you are |

Well heres the start of mine. As you can see in the pics, I made a 4 peace false floor. And the main one with the subs will be able to lift up and slide back when i drop the seats. And the other peace will be removable. Soo it will look flush and nice when in, but still completly operable for a flat.

Digndoug, that looks good man. Very similar to what I was thinking of. Will you be using fibreglass for the top?
