just wondering if anyone with JDM has this problem:

the beam of light is pointing towards the ground (passenger side).

wondering if there is a quick way to bring the light back up and whats the best way to adjust/angle the light??

i know the stock headlights have a level on it to we know the beam is shooting straight. what about the JDM ones?

i understand the JDM headlights hit on coming traffic, im not worry about that. i just want to bring the beam back up so i can see the road better.

at this point the passenger side light shines about 10 feet in from on me (this is w/ a HID conversion kit) and the driver side beam is about 20 feet in front.

Theres 2 screws coming out of lights, ones for left right ones for up down, i dont kno off hand which one is which but use an 8mm socket to turnthem and see which one is which.

And i would definately be concerned with blinding on coming traffic with an HID converesion that can get very dangerous.

thanks for the info.,

what i meant to say about blinding on coming traffic is that; at this moment im not too concern because my lights are hitting the ground so its not really bothering traffic.

as for adjusting the lights, what would be the best way in doing so?? just by trial and error? any tips on that??

thanks

One bolt is for up/down the other is left and right. So just park your car 5 feet before a clear wall turn the lights on and see what happens. I believe the lower one is for rotating left/right but dont know for sure!

so the lower bolt is laft and right, i take to turning the bolt to the left will angle the beam laft and right is rigt.

now what about up and down??

Dont know exactly but counter turning the upper bolt will make the beam go up, otherwise it will go down.

But really, Just park the car at a clear wall 5-8 feet/1,50-2 meter and see what happens.

Mine are perfect. I didnt have to reangle mine at all. We thought we might need to but it seems to point on the road just fine. I have had a few drivers flash me. I even had a trucker on the opposite side of the freeway flash me at night but i dont worry about it. If you cant deal for some headlights in ur face for 5 seconds then u need to seek help. People get too upset over small things

Nat, I agree somewhat, but I believe if it's something that hinders someone else and it's an easy fix u should fix it.

Disagree. Its to dangerous. If you drive on a non lit 2 lane road and a car like yours passes ppl can freek out or be blinded which can result in accidents. Just Modify them!!!

How many of you guys have modded the lights, Fietsbel and I did it dont know if anyone else did the mod.

So tina u did not mod them and gonna adjust them downwards. Then the whole second purpose of the light (brighter beam, better vision in the dark) will be wasted. But its your choice of course.
