eh, either way...even if it didn't really happen the way your friend said, i'm sure that you're running faster than the rest of us st's and a most gt's. there are probably quite a few cars that you can take out on the road.

but lagos does have a point...even if you are boosting at about 12 (not saying that you were or were not) it would still be difficult to get the car into the 13s.

...it would be cool to see if an st could take out a car reaspected as much as the carrera. if anybody has some kind of stories they should post up!

Even with 15psi that car wouldn't run over 225hp, and that car could kick any car with 225hp.

Tell your friend to come up with a more realistic story.

Boxers arnt 13 sec cars... there mid 14's- 15 depending on the driver.. There more just style..

I believe oobe. the 7atfe has much more potential than people like to believe. plus the gearing for the tranny is made for that engine to maximize torque. I can believe this one, not impossible at all.

Sorry guys, just looked it up and it runs 13's stock, 14's if it's Caqrrera 4.

Still much faster than a 7afte. . runs 17's stock . . it MIGHT have 225hp, best case scanario, which would be 14's, so it smoked a 13 second card ?

I will let you guys know, haha. But I told him to ease up on it because I have never fully enjoyed the car since it was turboed so I want to do it this time I go back home in a month. After that, he can push 1000 PSI and blow it to smithereens if he wants...he'll be the one rebuilding it, LOL!

Show me dyno's of 7afte's on 15psi with over 225hp and I'll shut up, or show me a 1/4 slip with a 7afte that used to run 17's now run 13's.

stock 7afe is less than 100hp to the wheels, 225 would be a damn lot from such a small engine, even if the stock HG could take 15psi, which I'm not sure of on the 7afe. forgive me if I seem reluctant to believe this car smoked a porsche, but I believe myself and others seem to agree this doesn't sound 100% correct.

And "leaving it behind"? thats gotta mean the celica would need to run 12's, right ?

Don't single me out as the only one not believing you, and I readily admit I might be wrong, i'm even asking you to do so.

bring us footage of your boost gauge hittin whatever it is he ran and take a drive with the camera. hell a dyno sheet or time slip on your valve cover would be nice too...

kwanza ran a 16 second quarter mile in a 7afe with no boost at all, and that is recorded. I'm sure with moderate boost, a 7afte could shave off 2 seconds rather easily.
