hey your guys it looks like im in a dilemma i juss received my springs and i got the front two pretty easily but when i got to the back it was juss horrible i tried to take off the bolts that connect to the brake umm the big bolts but they just wouldn't budge at all!! i tried wd40 on them didn't even faze em.. tried an open wrench with a rubber mallet wouldn't even budge and i tried a wrench with a bar and i ended up breaking it... sooo... does this mean i HAVE to get some air tools? if soo does anyone know where i can rent them? and how much it usually cost to rent it? or hopefully there is a different way i can do it? any info would be great? i juss don't get why the front was soo much easier then the back!!
oh yea if it helps i got a hatch st with drums... thanks in advance!!! -------------------- ![]() |

ok first make sure you are turing the right way .. sometimes (i'm not saying names .... MAC ) you can spend 20 minutes turning a bolt just to realize your goign the wrong way ... powertools are great .. i would say invest some money an djust buy them start small and just get a small compressor and one impact wrench .. should runn you less then 150 for both ...

My impact wrench didn't even move the lower bolts on my front suspension. I had to resort to ratchets, sockets, and breaker bars. Oh, and PB Blaster too...lots of that.

]ok i have the same problem last week while installing my springs, this is what i did and it worked. u need two 19 mm i think because u have to hold on to one nuts as u turn because if u don't the whole thing will turn. then hold one of the nuts then to turn the other one use a 12" pipe to help u turn it, use the pipe as an extension on ur tool so more force can be used to turn it.
