http://www.takakaira.co.jp/aerokits/aeroki...emenu.asp?cat=3

They have the GT4 kits. Their pricing is better than www.bulletproofautomotive.com but don't know about shipping.

Has anyone been a past purchaser from takakaira or bullet proof? How quick or slow is the shipping once ordered. I read on bulletproof that it may take up to 6 wks to receive the item. Seems to me like shipping is included into the price at bullerproof, but don't know about takakaira.

I've read about people having bad experiences with Bulletproof. Roo works there and is sometimes on this site, but only to sell stuff, and last time I wanted to buy something he couldn't even get me pictures.

I have ordered from Bulletproof. I bought the j-speed side tower braces. They are great pieces but they took 7 months to get. The guys there were very apologetic about it and kept me informed though. They also offered to give me a good deal on my next purchase. I would buy from them again, despite the problem. There are not alot of companies importing this kind of stuff from Japan.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I wouldnt buy from Bulletproof again. well not a body part anyways. Packing was so bad...I waited 6 months to get my front lip, and I got it in pieces. Their packing was plastic bag and then layed a couple of bubble wraps. and then UPS is crappy at handling boxes. so their packing didn't help at all. I'd say go with someone else if you want a body part

P.S. shipping is not included into the price in Bulletproof. shipping for the front lip of mine was 150 bucks. That's not bad, just wish they did a better job of packing.

Thank you for your replies. I will be receiving about $5,000 around August and plan on doing some upgrades on performance and exterior, so just wanted to know who is best to buy from. I think I will go with takakaira since their company is based in japan. About two years or a little more ago their website was only in Japanese and prices were almost double as what they are now. I guess they quickly learned that big business comes from over seas so lowering their prices and transalating their website was a big accomplisment for them.

Hopefully all goes well and I will be able to post before, during, and after pictures.

I got my Varis kit from Bulletproof , no problems.

I used a credit card, Bank of America Visa so if there were any problems dealing with them, Bank of America would resolve it. I had a problem with an electronics company that sent me something defective and refused to accept a return , I called the bank that issued my credit card and they fixed the problem, told me to send it back and they would take the money back from the electronics company bank.

Before you deal with a Japanese company talk to your bank that issued your credit card ,find out how any problems can be resolved.

Thanks for the advice Manta5x.
I was looking to buy stuff soon too, and just wondering if there was any protection for the buyer. I'll check with my bank.
By the way how much did you pay for the Varis kit?

i bought from both places. from takakaira. they have fast services. very updated info for your purchases... bullet proof. i dunno. i had bad experience with them. took them 8mths to ship my jspeed front strut brace out... but they compensate me for the long wait by giving the brace to me for free so i guess they ain't all that bad.
