ok so i get this metallic rubbing sound when i'm driving
around
so today i finally decided to check it out

the outside edge of my rotor
approx. 1/2" from the edge toward the center is showing greater wear then the rest of my rotor

i havn't checked the bads off the car yet and i'm doin that probably tomorrow

but i just wanted some opions
oh and its only onthe driver side

maybe the pad isn't clipped in correctly ?
check to see if the pad is prematurly worn. If the caliper was frozen of sticking, you would know it without a doubt.

yea if that bitch is extra hot all the time ur caliper is stuck, that happened to me,, my car was feeling really sluggish and sweaks and the brakes sucked.. u can even smell it burning.. u might need a new one.. thats prob the problem..

PS: batman ur ride is hot.. lookin gravY lol

found out its a worn out bearing frown.gif
oh well i'm goin to make 1 last trip on the celica for awhile tomorrow
then into the garage until sept.

I was just about to post that it's likely your wheel bearing; when mine got pretty bad they wore the outer rim of the rotors as well. Be sure you don't drive too much on the bad bearing, as it can mess other things up.
