that doesnt look too bad... i thought about trying to make one headlight myself... what i was thinking was taking a supra bumper or the combat bumper and molding supra lights to fit... you see tail lights modded all the time, but why not headlights?

i saw a sweet integra with a headlight mod that made it look like an rx7...... lemme get a link.........

eh... i still don't know about this, I love the look of our cars headlights. It's hard to get an idea of what this will look like from that pic, it confuses me confused.gif

are you going to make a clear lense to go over both lights? or are you planning on it being one headlight like the curren? or what?! confused.gif go get projectors instead biggrin.gif

If you do make sure you don't set the lenses back, or it'll look like that crappy little 90s Mazda.

But if you put a lens up over them flush with your front end and tinted it body color or black, it might look good.

the lense will be in the same spot it is now as in not flush with the outside.. i think that would look bad.. and yes it will just be one lense to cover everything.. its kinda like the supra cause all the light parts are in one lense.. i wanna also mod the blinker to be in between the high and lows.. basically its just cutting out the piece inbetween the highs and lows and making one lense cover both the high and lows.. like i said i suck at photoshop thats just a mock up.. idk i have 2 spare bumpers to practice and it will be one of a kind.. like i said before not like the curren cause these arent rectangle or as small

Just my 2 cents:

I'm not sure what your plan would be to fit them but this is what you will come across: The hood is bumped up to blend down to the lights so you'll have 4 bumps (2 on each side) that lead to.... one light (it won't look right). Your would have to body fill/fiber glass the crap out of the hood to make it blend into the single lights. Getting a hood from a different car like a supra or 5th gen would be out of the question because they won't fit flush with the fenders and [in the case of the supra] the hood would simply be too big.

The other thing is: It seems like you plan on cutting out space in the bumper cover for the new lights. The bumper cover is made out of urithane and extremely hard to work with. It will be very hard to make it look right. you'll have to buy the top-of-the-line products to custom fabricate the bumper around the new lights. Fiberglass doesn't adhere well to urithane. Body filler doesn't stay on urithane at all. The reason is that urithane bumpers are made to flex- Body filler and fiber glass are not.

It definitely sounds like a good project tho and I'd love to see progress pictures as you do it (if you do it). Keep me posted and good luck!

those were my original headlight plans smile.gif

your right that the hood and stuff are too big from a supra

but what you don't know is that in order to get the 6gc hood to become flat and flow down to 1 solid headlight is rather ummm easy......done it 2 times already and i'm doing it a 3rd in a few weeks......it takes about 4-5 hours to do from cutting to painting
