GT-Four has 251hp 3sgte engine and is AWD.

Your GT is 135hp and a 5sfe with FWD.

The ST205 (GT-Four) has a different front bumper & hood so body kits will be different on the front end.

i think he meant differences in the body kits

the gt4 looks alittle higher from what i can tell the cent sticks out alil more.

if you can get a hood made fora gt4 i would get the bumper made for the gt4, it looks alil better in my opinion and as long as both the hood and bumper are made for the gt4 or gt they will fit together, if you mix them up you will have a gap or they won't fit correctly

hope that helps

gt and gt four have different chassies so a body kit for a gt four probably wont fit in some spots without lots of modification.

The chassis is very, very, very similar right down to the seam welds in the floor pans, I think the trunk floor is different but I haven't seen any proof if they are or aren't.

That's the bumper, of course the body is different but if you stripped the GT down you could bolt in 99% of the GT-Four parts, maybe the rear end mount is different, same concept with the Evo and the Lancer, the only difference is the seam welds and the Evo has a slight fender flair over the Lancer. I've been telling people for a while why would Toyota spend an extra load of cash designing a different chassis for almost the exact same look, it's very common for manufacturers to use the same chassis in different vehicles, GTO=Manaro, IS300=Altezza, Celica=Curren, all 1994-2004 Mustangs use the SN-95 (ex. the Saleen SR which was a custom widebody), all F-Body Camaros and Firebirds, G35=350Z, Evo VII and VIII=Lancer, Evo V or VI (can't remember)=Colt/Mirage, 2005 Mustang=Lincoln LS, 300C=Charger, I can name a whole load more that share an almost indentical or identical chassis, what makes the Celica so different from the hundreds of other cars that share the same chassis, is it because ours says ST204/AT200 vs. ST205, Toyota is still a mass production manufacturer yeah the guts maybe different even the skin to but the original shell is the same.

He obviously hasn't. He's just making assumptions that are hugely incorrect. I believe that I have pictures at home that'll prove the point, but the GT-Four is very, very different. Not even the backseat from a GT-Four will bolt into any AT200 or ST202/3/4 I don't think.

I thought exactly like him before i saw/drove GT-four. They are different. Front / engine bay / stiffnes of the chasis (remeber it was build to be a AWD car) / even the flor of the car is different. Rear end is not like GT / ST at all, there is Fuel tank there are normaly spare wheel is on GT/ST. and so on..... But differences are Not so huge, but still changes where made to the chasis.

So what is the point of putting a driveshaft tunnel in a car designed to be specifically FWD, I said other stuff can be different like body panels, the back seat, but a majority of the chassis are the exact same on the exception of maybe the rear trunk panel. As far as the trunk panel I haven't seen behind the fuel tank of the 204 chassis so I don't know if there is a mount loactaion for a rear end.

In answer to the original question, I suspect a ST205 bodykit will not fit on a ST202 without significant work.

JDM ST205

Blitz Spec NUR Exhaust, somewhere over $1000
Needing another one 18000 miles later, bloody annoying.
