Needs a good wash and wax, buffing. A few paint chips. Seems to be eating gas madly.

Few dents in the drivers side cuz I was a noob. Also the driver's side leather seat is torn, and both door panels are warped by the window. It's all not as bad as it sounds though

This is what's wrong with my car

1) low power on my window sheild wipers dont work

And thats it! For a car thats been totalled once, and is about to hit the big 100,000 mile count, my car runs as if there were no such thing as wear n' tear on an engie, and it runs as if its never been wrecked... I was pretty damn lucky to find such a car... And I've been happy ever since... Although I am sad my car is gonna flip to 100,000 miles... Its got another 110 miles to go before it switches over...

[EDIT]
Although this isn't an actual problem that affects the car in anyway, I put a dent in the side fender a while back... I backed into my dad's truck and it left the smallest indent you could ever imagine... That's getting fixed when Im taking my car to the body shop to get the dent out and then everything else I bought for my car to get installed and painted on my car... Haha, my car is coming back a whole new car when its get outa the body shop wink.gif

just turned my odometer over 100,000 this AM - and I can honestly say - there is nothing wrong with this car!

I totalled my 91 Celica at 86,000 and there was nothing wrong with that either - well until the head-on collision frown.gif

When I sold my 97 Celica it had 76,000 miles, and that never had more than a windshield washer pump replaced.

these cars rule!

Oh and by the way - mine might be for sale shortly - have a good chance of buying a 98 Porsche C4S

Not many problems to speak of. I could probably run my car for at least another 50-60,000 miles+ without having to replace anything to serious. I'm totally in love with Toyota quality and efficiency. biggrin.gif

Only things I would like to fix-
- New paint and doors so that everything is 100% perfect and rust free.
- Stop the very very slight drip of oil that developed from the oil drain bolt after I changed the oil and lost the O-ring that goes inside the washer....*doh*....not hard to fix at all though.
- Borrow a 24mm socket so I can change my transmission fluid.
- Get an Optima battery so that my one amp doesnt pop from turning on and off from lower voltage.
- Find out what the buzzing sound is from my back left tire....Although I dont think its anything serious or costly.
- Boost smile.gif

Oh and by the way, if anybody wants a smoother running engine, do what I did and start using Mobil 1 Synthetic. Amazing stuff, and although I was skeptical it would make a difference its like night and day now that I've driven for about 4 days with it in.

It's most likely not the battery, but the fact that your amp doesn't have a soft-turn-on.

Yeah Coomer, the amp used to pop everytime I turned it on, but that has subsided since I put it in. It's an MA Audio amp, and I dont exactly think they engineer them to turn on/off very smoothly. rolleyes.gif
Now the problem is that while its operating at high or even at low volumes, it very occasionally pops the speakers like the power was interrupted, which is what it seems to do, then the speakers kick back on again. Sometimes the volume of my amps varies noticably too....I know its hard to diagnose without seeing it, but I'm confident that this is the problem.

I figured it was a battery shortcoming simply because its an old battery that I've been using for the past 3 years I've owned the car and even longer since the previous owner had used it for a while...unless you think it could be something else. Any ideas?
