I was installing my Koyo radiator today and I don't know what the other hole next to the lower radiator hose is- it is threaded and about 3/4"

Does anyone know what this is for?

If it's not for anything I was considering putting a coolant sensor in it and running that to it's own guage, BUT would I get a proper reading of the engine's temp from there?

Or can/should I just find a plug for it?

Thanks-Daniel

there should be a temp sensor on your old radiator right there. you probably have to swap it over. that sensor is what tells your radiator fans to come on .

My car doesn't have the sensor?, I think because it is an ST -

I know other people have this radiator on an ST,What did you guys use?

I'm thinking of just buying a temp.sensor for the GT and running it to an aftermarket guage-will that work without any complications?

If you really cant find a place to plug in a sensor, just plug it.
