9 months, so that's like 6480 hours. If things went perfect, which means you didn't have to wait on parts, you don't break any bolts and so forth, the swap would take 2 days to put in and a day of problem solving. I won't go like that though

i would say that if you got the front clip and kinda had a basic knowledge of what you were doing. maybe like 2 days or more depending on if you were by yourself or if you have done a swap b4.

I'm doing the swap now its been about 30 hrs of work, and we just bolted the tranny onto the 3sgte. Still gotta get it in the car, bolt it up, connect it, and then do the ECU. So probably another 30 hrs.

Due to my hectic schedule those 30 hrs have been spread over 3 weeks.

I spent a good 6 months sorcing everything.. the actual swap took 3 days once the old motor was out.

the swap has tooken me about 2 months, probably clsoe to 40 hours total of work, other has been waiting for parts. figureing out stuff. research before you do it. make sure everything is there ebfore you tear out your old engine, seriously it will help you alot

Well i have a 94 Explorer but im selling it so im using my dad's old winter beater, the 88 Bronco II. Boy, i love it...NOT.
It'll be worth it when im puttin down 235 hp biggrin.gif
