Hey guys,

I've just purchased a 1999 Celica SX-R and I was wondering what mod's I could do to it for reasonable prices i'm only 17 (18 in a week and a 1/2) so I don't have money to just throw around lol. I don't really know to much about engine spec related stuff but i'm keen on learning. (I'm from Melb btw CelicaZR)

First of all, what type of mods do you want to do? Performance/mechanical related or aesthetics, and how much are you willing to spend?

In terms of performance, you could probably get a custom CAI going for pretty cheap, and in terms of exterior/interior you could change your interior colours and gauge picture, get some clear indicators, etc.

First off happy 18th birthday.

you can do a number of things for resonable prices, I would start with some wheels, altough there not exacly cheap, but do make a big diff, also as above mentioned, you can get an intake (very easy and cheap,) probibly put on a muffler, there not very costly, a set of clear corners, paint your dash peaces and/or door peaces, a new sterio. there are a number of things that you can do, its all up to what exacly you want.

Also after new exaust and muffler for the time being. Umm just a bit curious on side skirts, I would really like to get some to change the 'feminine' look about it so would I have to get front a rear stuff to match it.. Any advice and recommendations thankyou smile.gif

Probably the best choice for a CAI would be a custom made one, there are a few articles in the how-to section. Good luck with your new ride!

Nice ride, looks like mine, how much did u pay for it? What features does it have?

If you get OEM sideskirts (which are pretty damn expensive) you could also get the SS-III front and rear splitters which complement them perfectly.

8th Picture down, that's what I'd like the exterior to look like smile.gif How much do you think that would cost, and what is the name of all the stuff on that car if you know ?

Thanks smile.gif
