I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

If you look in my profile I placed the Kicker logo from the aftermarket speaker grilles onto my stock grilles. Thats about as good as you can do in the doors unless youre putting a speaker someplace where there isn't one to begin with, like the hatchback tray. Otherwise it will probably take alot of work, depnding on how crafty you get or how badly you want it.

I have just installed 8" speakers in front door and wanted to have nice "Infinity" grilles put there as well. Unfortunately 8" grilles are too big to be installed - but 6 3/4" will fit nicely. As I have examined the factory grille, it should be fairly easy: cut out the middle piece of grille (leave the edge in place) and screw the grille on (to the edge that you have left) with screws typically supplied with speakers (ones that have quite thin core and quite wide blade).

I remember there being a topic on the front speakers a while back...I found it! here you go:

Front Speakers

this is how my front speakers use to look, however last week I decided to place the stock covers back in...(still have the after market speakers in there but not the grill!)

I put the front speakers grills back in my own creative way tongue.gif I ended up inserting a piece of mesh grill between my stock speaker cover & the speaker itself & zip tied everything together(black zip ties to match!) wink.gif hahaha.......it works I tell you!! just ask coomer he saw it @ the meet the other day....it was the only way i could think to make the stock grills flush w/ the door again.

First I had to mold the mesh around the speaker cover to give it a round shape & soem depth. its hard to explain, bleh,.....but it works & all u can see is the stock speaker cover...nothing else!! w00t!

if u really wanted to make the after market grills flush w/ the door im sure u can get creative & find a way to do it smile.gif i could have w/ mine but I didnt want to take my door panels off again...

well if i was as creative as you amy, i might try it. i dont think id be able to get the stock covers back in, if i didnt like them out, and not have it look like crap even with those matching zip ties smile.gif
