So i went out today to go look for a new subwoofer(s) to do a coustom fiberglass enclosure when i get my car back. So i went to one of the local audio shops and the sales men asks whats my budget, i said not 2 much. So he shows me some new JL audio 10inch sub that goes for $1150 CND..each..just the speaker bowdown.gif So i kinda laughed and kept looking. Didnt find any thing i liked except the rockfordfosgate P2 10. So i left and on the way home i noticed a pawn shop, so i pulled into its parking lot cuz i know alot of ppl who have gotten good deals on subs and stuff at pawn shops. My ex gf got a 12inch audiobahn sub in a box with a wiring harness(no amp) for $200cnd last summer. So i walk in, first thing infront of me is the subwoofers. They have two boxes that caught my eye. First one was two 12inch clarions in a clarion box, brand new. $300cnd!, then above it was 2 JL audio 12's in a sealed box. Older model JL's but still in good condition. I look at the price tag expecting to see like $500+...$200+tax. So like $230 for two almost new older model JL audio subs in a box. So i walked around the store for a bit. THey had a 1000watt pioneer amp for $150!. So needless to say when my check from workers comp comes in im gonna b making a nice lil trip down to them and get me some cheep subs biggrin.gif

Do you even know which model of subs they are? Just because they're two JL subs doesn't mean they're worth $230.
