Unfortunately... Super Struts are unique to Toyota and are pretty rare and expensive.

I went TRD, and I'm very happy (and have no money left)

I'm pretty damn sure the words "SuperStrut" and "Cheap" are mutually exclusive I'm afraid.

Check out KYB. They have shocks that fit SSS and should be reasonably priced.

KYB are actually OE Toyota shocks. I paid NZ$100 each for a set of genuine Toyota KYB shocks a few months ago from a Toyota dealer.

KYB is also making Shocks for TRD Suspensions for Street and Circuit.
Also GAB and Tanabe looks ok for the money.
I drove maikl SS3 last night with TEIN Type HA and the handling its AMAZING,try to get a price for a full coilover kit or save money for it.
Are you using stock springs?
Many Japanese Celica Owners are using TRD shocks with Swift springs, you can check Swift Web site at this link: http://www.tohatsu-springs.co.jp/

i have superstrut and want to lower my curren cos it's up so high... but i'm worried about lowering and having superstrut because of the problems with it. and one suspension place said they only springs that gave a 30mm drop from factory spec so may only drop 15-20mm. should i get new shocks at the same time (curren has done 140000km/80000miles without them being replaced that i know of...
