ok guys, i got my dvd player in, it has a red, black, yellow and green wires. Red and black are obviously positive and negitive. It says the yellow wire is for the ACC switch, and the green is the backing-up control wire. Can someone explain to me what the yellow and green do?

Not sure about the green one, but the yellow ACC one is what tells the dvd player that you started your car and that it should turn on as well.

yup i figured it all out, just incase anyone is wondering, the red is postive, black negative, yellow is the ignition so it knows your car is on, and the green is supposed to be attach to the parking brake, for legal reasons you cannot drive and have a monitor playing in the front seats. I just grounded out the green wire and that fixed my problem, now I can drive and watch TV.
