Hey, i was just wondering..how do you colour ur clock?? I was reading the how-to on the climate controll colour changing...I was wondering, do u just paint the clock face with that stainglass spray paint??/would that work?? Let me know cuz its gonna b my first project when i get my celi back
Last week i went out and picked up a can of that krylon stainglass spray paint. Im gonna do the climate controll things first, but i wanna know if i can use it on the clock aswell, if so then im gonna have to go out and buy another can. This post has been edited by Valo666: Aug 2, 2005 - 10:19 PM |

hmmm i dunno about spray paint, all i have ever known is to bust out the stock plastic "window" of the clock & replace it w/ a piece of stage lighting gel (thin plastic film used to light up the stage) - it comes in every color u can imagine...i chose BLUE theres a how to on this site some where...

you need to remove it from the console. then take it abaprt - it's held together with 4 small screws.
When you get the circuit board out, you'll notice that the inner side of the front piece of plastic has a curved 'amber' lens. Remove this and superglue a piece of stage lighting gel over the hole just choose the colour you want. |

There's a thread hanging around that discussed how to change every interior light, including a how-to on the clock that was quite simple.
