My Remote Start Idea and Questions Options

Hi,
I was thinking about how I'm gonna go about installing my Autopage RS-650 alarm and remote start in my '94 Celica 5-Speed, and I had an interesting idea.

I was thinking that if I could find some sort of switch or setup a relay that will allow current to pass through it once, and then have the switch reset itself so that it has to be pushed in again, then I could simply setup a switch like that. Then, whenever I left my car in neutral and was planning on remote starting it, I'd have to push the switch in to allow for the clutch bypass to work.

This would be at least somewhat safer than simply trying to remember if I left the car in gear or not and would prevent the car from remote starting unless I planned on it, so I'm wondering if it's a feasible idea. How would I go about getting something like this to work?

Also, is there some sort of a wire on my '94 Toyota Celica 5-speed that detects whether or not the car is in gear, so that if the car is in gear, it won't start? I didn't see any wires near the shifter assembly when I installed my TRD QuickShifter, so I'm kinda doubting that there's a wire, but it can't hurt to ask.

By the way, I already know about all of the risks and legal implications of installing remote start on a manual, and I have a basic knowledge of my car's wiring from installing keyless entry and tweaking various things on it.

OK here is something simpler just hook it up to your hand break. So that if your hand break isn't up the remote starter doesn't work. That way it doesn't matter if your car is in gear it just doesn't move.

I'm going to do this anyway, because when I start the car in neutral I don't want it rolling away. Also, when the hand brake is released or the brake pedal is pressed, I'm going to have the remote start turn off. And also, the e-brake may not hold a car in place when it lurches, especially if it's not up very high, and even if it did hold, it's very bad for the car to have it try to lurch forward with the e-brake on.

And to Matt,
I'd want the switch/button on the inside, and I'd probably put it next to my dimmer knob or in the switch panel that I'm gonna build.

how ar eyou going to bypass the overruning clutch in the starter? I don't know if what I'm saying is right. I built one for auto shop and the cluth needs to be depressed for it to turnover. Just wondering?

Near the clutch, there is supposedly a black and yellow wire that needs to be connected to a black wire. This gives the car the impression that the clutch is always in when those wires are connected. My switch would be a some sort of switch or button(probably involving relays) that would connect those wires together when I press it, and then once the car remote starts, the switch would reset, therefore breaking the circuit between those two wires. Anyone know how I could do this?

Behind the clutch pedal is a switch. If you close this switch, the car will start without the clutch being pushed in.

Mine has been like that for a while now. I just disconnected the plug for the switch and stuck a piece of wire into it so that it's always on. I then covered the wire/plug with electrical tape. Since the switch is only used when the car is being started, the only negative effect comes from trying to start the car in gear. But after a while you learn. Only took 1 time for me to learn.
