Ok.. so theres this car for sale down the street from my buddies g/f's house. Its a 92 318i. It has 236k on it, ran perfect till a few days ago, when it stoped runing. My guess its the stock fuel pump went up. BUT the body and interior is clean and flawless.. looks like almost brand new. It was used as a daily driver and they have had it sence 14k.
There asking $1500.. well he said his wife wants $1500.. he said if they dont sell it by the end of the week there giving it to her brother to part out, which i know i could part out over 2k.. My brother asked if he would posible take $120.. he said the wife wants 1500, but if you say you have it and want it, he would see what he could do. My brother wants it as a daily, im telling him its not worth it, but I want it as a project car what do you think? Also its a 4 door black tan leather, in perfect condition.. 5 speed.. |

Figure out whats wrong with it before you decide to part it out. If its something stupid like fuel pump, then fix it and use it. I had an 84 318i (think they look the same E30) and it was good to me.

Its the e36 first year of the new body style. I was just saying worst comes to worst I could part it out. |

My friend had one of those it was an auto, I think I could outrun it on foot.
If it was a stick it may be worth it. |

Its a stick, and its prolly only gunna be as fast as my car.. but it would be a project to replace the entire suspenion and rebuild the engine, maybe a setup for turbo or somthing. Or... get it running good enough for a daily and make my celi a project car. The other good thing, I already have some nice wheels with perfect tread for it, from my last bimmer. Oh you said you could part it for more than 2K so I thought thats what your intention was.
I'd say fix it. But since you had a Bimmer before, you know how expensive that'll get. Woot for Bavarian Motorsport. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Aug 9, 2005 - 10:18 PM -------------------- |
