QUOTE(Jaws4God @ Sep 4, 2005 - 10:38 PM) I am just wondering... how many cats do our celicas have? AFAIK 94-95 "cali emmisons" cars all had 2, non cali have 1. i "think" 96+ is the same, but i could be wrong about 96+ . im sure someone will chime in also -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

my point is i did it and thought i would comment on what i thought since everyone was talking about how it sounds i found another aspect to look at it... btw, i like the sounds both realtime and ffwd. -------------------- 94' ST Coupe - 5sfe Motor swap and brake swap.

if you take speed bumps slow you wont have a problem....your car lifts up as you go over them. if you go fast then you might have problems. you have about 4 inches of travel in your wheels to play with at speed...

wow.... only 3" to the pipe is low! but if you guys are worried about speed bumps think of it this way. The low part of his exhaust is directly between the rear wheels and will lift up as you drive slowly over the bump, so it should still have a 3" clearance going over the speed bump. The only real problem is road kill or objects sticking up in the road or big ass holes like i got here in PA .....things that both rear tires do not drive over at the same exact time!
Looks nice! DG -------------------- |

Strate pipe Manny? Rebel. I've got strate pipe as well, but it's not 3inches. Your turbo quiets it down a bit, I think. I would like to see if mine is louder than yours. I'm so afraid to take my baffle out now. It's really loud and I don't want people to get the wrong impression on Imports, or me. And my inspection sticker is 2 months past due. I've got a strate through glass pack looking muffler.

Still passes Houston's super stringent emmissions despite the OBDII at the Toyota dealership though. Still can't figure out why. Pressure - you're car sounds so beautiful it makes me want to get off my a$$ and install my Turbo stuff. For some reason I think I have cold feet. Probably because my '86 Swap was such a pain in the a$$. -------------------- |

yup straight pipe turbo back.
thanks DG, you know how it is its low, but where the exhaust travels with the chassis, so i just about never scrape. like DG said, if i hit a tire popper, (HUGE pothole ) it gets close..and even then, ive only hit once or twice since ive had it, and thats mostly on dirt roads, not the street. its really not that loud, except @ WOT. you want LOUD, check out the HKS jeff has. lol oobe, yea...part of living up here in the north east part of the country...lots of salt on the roads in the winters.. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
