I was once on a quest for the JDM "dealer option" sideskirts like Magic has on his car. These are sometimes known as "TRD" skirts but I think that is a misnomer. I did a lot of research and determined that they are no longer available from Toyota - either in Japan or elsewhere. There is a company in the UK that still has them available but they will cost about $600 to get them in the U.S.. Here is a picture of the skirts on Magic's car:

Here is picture of the "z-glyde" type skirts that are on the Erebuni 404 kit and other knockoffs from VIS and cyberbestbuy. However, they are different than the dealer option sides, particularly the section near the front wheel. Notice that there is an "angled" section that sticks out near the area under the front of the door on the z-glyde skirts. The lines of the dealer option sides are a little more simple and have a slightly better "flow" IMO.

And, here is a link to the company that offers them for sale:

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

yea thanks for the post cause i too have been really dying to get those side skirts and was close to having to resort to the regular common oem side skirts man those will look awesome with the trd front end just like the trd advertisement pics. man cant wait till i can start ording them... my ideal vision will be another step closer.

Yeah, I agree... The top ones are sexier... but honestly I wouldn't have noticed the difference had you not said anything.

actually jeff, ive already talked with chris about them, he CAN make them, just cant SHIP them..lmao
the skirts are too long to ship cheaply, he'd basicly have to cut them in half to get them over to us for a reasonable price.

The thread is in the F/S forum. It will be approximately $405 if we have 8, $435 if we have 5. Right now we have 4. And, the Z-glyde type skirts are not the same - even if you could get the knockoff ones to fit properly out of the box - which you can't.

I dont' see any difference between stock ones, may be they are a lil bit higher. Now stock ones are made out of soft flaxible urethane and are availeble from junkyard for as much as $100 and those are original, fits perfect. On the other hand replicas are made out of fiberglass and can crack very easy. I had experience wit fglass, no more in my life again. Thanx
