hello all i m new on this forum but i have some questions.

what are the best ways to get more preformance out a 7afe without
spending a lot of mony.
i was thinking about a diffrent intake a other mufler and a cat back system.
but how much will this do? and what other options do i have?
i live in belgium and the law on engine tuning is pritty lame here.
so mounting a turbo is out of the question.
but maybe other injectors and a fuel pomp with a larger capacity?

well i don't know tongue.gif

but does anyone here has some sugestions?

well.. i should start by asking you to search before posting since this has been covered tooooo many times lol.. but if you're looking into getting more power out of your 7afe, a exhaust and intake ain't gonna give you much.... but if you intend to get a exhaust, get yourself a muffler you like and get a straight pipe. you could keep the resonator. get a header and a CAI. plyr158 use the tiburon AEM intake, did a little customizing and it seems great. but like i said.. the 7afe ain't gonna give you much power unless you go turbo... biggrin.gif

calm down guys, he is new here.

there is not much performance gains with upgrading a st engine. It does not have a restictive intake or exhaust, so upgrade will only give you minumal results. the most you will ever get from an intake and exhaust is 10hp.

the injectors for our cars are more then enough for a naturally aspired engine. But tuning the stock ecu can actually give you some results.

4A-FE is 1.6...it's an inferior engine. You mean 4A-GE? Also, mounting a turbo costs nothing...onc eyou buy the turbo, just mount it to the manifold for free, hehe. A turbo kit will cost you maybe a grand, maybe four...it depends on what you get and how you cheap out of it...which is a sin. My setup cost me a little over four grand but I purchased everything new and name brand. smile.gif

dont spend the money on intakes and exhaust power gains will be minimal.

go out buy a light wieght flywheel and performance clutch, front rear sway bars and a set of decent springs or coilovers. attend a auto x track and youll be in good competition for short tracks/tight turns smile.gif

but if you really want a intake and header PM me ill sell you my intake and header for a decent price.
