you got the right idea. you just use your normal spark plugs... if you get spark off of one, then youll get it off the other 4.

edit: might want to pull the efi fuse too, and unplug all 4 plug wires too

no spark at a plug ? trace it back through the wire, the cap, ect. Find out where you are losing it.

yeah like batman said.... next you want to test the king lead plug wire that comes off from your coil... just be very carefull cause it can shock the **** out of you. if you get spark there, then the problem is with the distributor, the cap or the rotor. if you dont get spark, then the problem is with the coil, or igitor...or maybe a blown fuse somwhere.

bad spark plug wire, bad cap and rotor or bad distributor.

Alright, the wires are good, the cap is suspect.

Im still stranded, and only getting spark out of 1 cylinder. A new cap and rotor didn't do a thing. A check into my coil showed that I was getting a proper reading to the resistance of the secondary coil, but 0 resistance to the primary coil. The manual says replace it. I'm going to have to buy one frown.gif Can anybody think any other reason Im only getting spark to one plug?
