what does it mean when a person says: "the engine is hydro locked or just plain ol siezed?"??? what does this mean? does this mean the engine is bad? can it be fixed? thanks

Yes, it means the engine is bad. The only way around it is a rebuild or a new engine.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

If you have a GT then yes. But why drop a 5sfe in when you could do a 3sgte swap?

you got it dude! maybe next year ill do a 98 beams swap or a 3rd gen swap...ill inform when the time has come...

If you want to swap to a beams or 3sgte, you may as well do it now. NO point in doing 2 swaps.

To make things easier, I would just put in a new low mileage 5sfe, and turbo it. Or do what I did and rebuild then turbo.
