cuz i made a few mistakes which i attribute to not doing enough research and rushing into the swap. first i bought a jdm mr2 clip which was good cuz of the tranny and all, but like everyone knows, the alltrac swaps much easier cuz you dont have to look for parts. second, i took it to a guy who had NO idea what he was doing. but now its at a much nicer shop.
...overall ive spent most of the time finding/waiting for parts This post has been edited by gtfc115: Aug 19, 2005 - 11:44 PM |

looking good. how much did you spend on laybor so far?
see if they can put exhaust heat wrap on the IC pipe that goes to the throttle body, cause that one heats up a lot from the valve cover. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

yeah they're doing that. and so far ive spent over $3k cuz nobody around here has ever done this swap before. they wanted to turn me away but i basically told them i'd pay whatever they wanted. at the time it had already been over 6 months at the first shop and i just wanted it done. |

Don't feel bad I've been waiting for 3 weeks now for freaking mr2 axles that were only going to take 3 days according to autozone. Then paid $60 extra to get them 2nd day shipped from advanced auto and fed ex lost em! AAAArrrrgggg I'm frustrated!
