Okay, I'm in the process of buying a sunroof that came on a Celi. Mine is a coupe and currently doesn't have a sunroof. I wanted to know how hard it'd be to install it. It looks very easy to do. Just cut the roof the right size and fit that thing in there and bolt it up to the ceiling inside. ill have the sunroof, the motor, the switch. basically everything ill need as far as materials. anyone have any suggestions as to how to start installing this? like, what tools to use to cut the metal on the roof? etc... thanks. has anyone done this before?

It's a sunroof, but instead of a glass panel, it's like convertible material that folds back. They can be made huge, because the fabric just folds up instead of the glass panel going between the roof and headliner, or above the roof. I think they're ugly IMO, and I wouldn't get one for the same reason I wouldn't get a convertible. Too much heat loss, and people can knife the fabric.

There are a few guys back home that install sunroofs on any car and they guarantee against leaks. The work is amazing... and looks like factory fit. smile.gif

He already has the stuff, custom t-tops would be mad expensive and roll cages in non-race/non-autocross cars looks stupid, even if it's for structual integrity after chopping up the roof that hold the car together. rolleyes.gif

A called Ziebart and they gave me a quote for a 16x31, about $300, but I'm probably gonna go as big as I can.
