basicly i can play open cards and tell you the whole situation, just that you guys could imagine:
Projector units: Good ones might cost about 100$ for a pair. Sometimes they cost about 30-50 for a good used pair but not the best ones.... Inner housing around the projectors - including all matterials will cost about 20-30$ not much at all and not too hard to make... Shrouds around projectors (the chrome piece what covers whole projectors) original ones might cost about 80$ for a pair. To make custom ones - about 20-30$ Glass polishing - 100$ here. Expensive. Making metal plate for projectors assembly - about 2$ LOL And all this not including work, and it is about 2 full days of work to make them... so in total we get about 260 in matterials only, not including work. And theres a lot of work, atleast 150$ needed for work. so in total it is about 400$ as for 475$ you can get JDM lows.... this is why it is expensive.... well then how much does it take to make the highs? Didnt you just paint the inside of regular ones black? I would pay for a set like that.. I think that is still cheaper than JDM projectors isnt it?
