i wanted one when it 1st came out because i thought it was cool..... then i took a look at the games for it and most of them sucked ass. so, base your decision off the games and not the system.

my brother just got one.

Pros:
huge screen, awesome graphics, very versitile, very easy connectivity to PC, memory stick mini.

Cons:
expensive, usage opportunities(when are you REALLY gonna play it?), slightly heavy, expensive games/movies.

those are just from my messing with it for not even 10minutes. i could think of more, but that's just a couple things to maybe help you.

honestly, i think 250 is a bit much for a hand-held, but then again, it's B.A. i personally wouldn't spend it, but then again, i don't have a crapload of money. smile.gif.

Its probably not worth buying right now, but in the near future there is gonna be better games, some new hardware. My biggest problem with it is the lack of good titles for it, lumines is probably the best game for it right now but cmon, a puzzle game? And i have the same problem with the DS...

They are sick, a bunch of my friends have em. The games are kinda expensive but the movies r cheap(half of em)..$20 for some movies. But yea, its not bad. I was thinkin of gettin one, but im not gonnna pay that price. I could go out n get a 7" monitor and a ps2 thin for what its worth.

I'd get a nintendo DS just cuz it has much more highly rated games then the psp, its more fun oriented and innovative in my opinion. And for the price of the psp, its really not worth it YET..... needs better games. I have a psp, and I regret getting it soo early cuz the games suck, and sure- it has alot of other capabilities, but realistically, they wont be used much. My psp is just collecting dust right now and for the past 3 1/2 months. I'd say hold off on it for as long as you can., or until it gets cheaper.

I mounted my PSP in my dash and hooked up the sound to my stereo to watch movies. It really makes the redlights seem very short.

I got the PSP, the first day it came out and the same with my DS.

It's nice to have for a long flight or something, and if you buy a 1gb memory stick, you can actually download movies and stuff, or use your PSP as a mp3 player for your car.

true. i had a Sony PEGA-NZ90 Palm Pilot that does practically everything the PSP does now. The palm cost me close to $1500 3 yrs ago! I consider PSP to be REALLY cheap for what it can do!
