those cables are wrong buddy. You need to figure out what tranny that is, or moditfy that tranny to get those cables to fit.

you need to clearly explain what year car you have, engine, model and......
You need to find out what tranny you are using. you need to go to the right forum, this is strictly 6th generation celicas. If you own a 5th gen or this engine is installed in a 5th gen go over to celicatech. They have plenty of 5th geners over there. Who did the swap? where did you find this car ? i have a 6gc and a 5th gen ok. its a celica they are pretty close related, now like i said i have a 5th gen GTS that has a 3sgte swapped in it like i said up top. i dont know who swapped i bought it from a private seller so i dont know if they changed trannys or what the seller got it swapped. i am trying to get it fixed. the 5th and 6th dont vary to much different and i posted over there to i was hoping i could get help here to. it seems like no one over there is really posting. i need to check it

actually, there are many differences between 5th and 6th gen.
They are two totally different generations. Like I said above those cables you have in there are wrong. I doubt you'll find any more help here about it. I would recommend talking to 5th gen swappers, ur bound to run into someone that had this same problem. Or another option is to grind down those C's tranny so you can clip in the cables. I would try to find the right cables, but grinding is another option that I would see as a last resort. Good luck I hope you figure it out DEF -------------------- I will return one day. |

well go to celicatech and look at my post under 5th gen then tell me if i am better off using this site or the other. the one post i got was "u need clips" that helps doesnt since one can help me i guess i need a different site. there are many differences but they dont change much over the years either. there is a couple different things but if u look at the main picture they didnt change much. and also isnt it weird they have the same engines.

I just looked at ctech
get the right cables, or grind the tranny to fit the ones you have installed. DEF -------------------- I will return one day. |
