Alright about 8 months ago my brakes were sounding horrible (the sound is a rubbing scrapping noise) so i got all new pads and they replaced rotor on the front passenger side, but now it seems that the breaks are starting to make the same sound again not as much but still making it. They also dont stop very well and sometimes it feels like they just lock up when I am slowing down gradually. Could this be another rotor worn out or just pads or both? I dont want to replace a rotor again for another stock one so if it is the rotor what is a good upgrade for the st.

If it's not flat on both pads (e.g. a corner of a pad is more worn than the other corner or middle) you've got problems.
Checked the function of your calipers recently? Not just piston movement, but the sliding bushings? You should be able to move them with your hands. |
