hey all, any1 know of any store that sells a auto shift knob with an o/d button? if i cant find one, i was thinking if i jus connect the o/d button to a switch on the dash, and install a shift knob for a manual...would u guys think it'll work?

levoc makes the shift knobs with the overdrive button.. there a little pricy, i have the carbon fiber look one..

i was thinking of getting just an auto with no o/d button shift knob...BUT i wanna know has anyone re-wire their o/d button to a switch?....i was thinking of doing a custom job on my dash to make it more sporty......

razo makes a nice one.. all auto shifts w/ O/D is over 100 i've seen.

does anyone happen to know how to do that ?....celicaracr?....im thinking its just a simple power, ground relocating..but is there anything else i might wanna do b4 i take out the splicer?...

it's easy. i haven't done it, but my freind has and we plan on doing it on mine. the o/d button is an electrical thing so it will be easy to splice, rewire, and direct to a button on your dash or in an aftermarket steering wheel. not that hard. i'll post something when i get it done.

do so....cuz the levoc is a little pricy...oh and customenterprise.com has a levoc with o/d for half the price i've seen on other sites.....its th echeapest i found...but i dont really like the style of those.....just to letcha know....
im thinking of locate to a switch on the unit below the stereo....kinda like a NOS button of some sort..LoLs...NOS!!!!...no its OD!!!!!!!!!!! -------------------- |

i rewired my OD to a separate switch its not that hard to do u might have to extend the wire depending where u gonan place it
