Is there a standard way the beams are supposed to point to?

How do you set your projectors!??!?!?!

I believe there's a how-to on adjusting the projectors on our main-page.
not many risk messing it up, but the JDMs are like your right pic i believe...or the passenger is flat and the driver side cuts...

it's just funny cuz i was turning the 2 screws on the back of the projectors and i have absolutely NO idea where the beams are supposed to point to, or how high the beams are supposed to go without blinding the car in front....

You might want to do the LHD projector mod.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I'm sorry, I think I should rephrase my question...

I really don't care about the cut-off thing, or whatever it's for LHD, RHD... I am just wondering the standard way of tweaking the lights to shoot at a correct spot:

At your first picture from your post. Your left drawing is how its supposed to be set. Not like the right one.

Hope to have helped you enough!

Apparently you didnt read the thread I posted.

In it,
QUOTE(doGGy @ Dec 23, 2004 - 2:03 AM)
here, i found the cut off of the JDM projectors (celica projectors):

And you can compare this to the beam of LHD projectors:

For the second pic, it really doesnt matter unless you do LHD modification.

His question was if the beams should overlay each other. The answer for that is no. Took a little time to get the right words in my mind smile.gif
