I found this, and I know a lot of you don't like ebay, but that is where I like to shop. I was wondering if it will fit right on to the stock piping and if not how can I make it fit? Muffler

2.5" inlet on the muffler verus 2" stock exhaust piping. Not going to fit without mods.

Besides which, the thing is a standard issue fart cannon. A 14" long (remember to subtract 3" of piping from either end) body that's 6" around and packed only with steel wool and fibreglass as your only muffler? Unless you're racing, yick. And if you're racing, what's with the stock exhaust?

What really cracks me up is the way it's advertised as if it's specific to the 94-97 Celicas. It's a universal that would have to be welded on. Which is how you'd mount it to your stock piping, BTW. Weld in a reducer (pipe that goes from 2.5" to 2") between your stock pipes and your new muffler.

Personally, I'd spend the same amount of money (including shipping) on a full-size, properly matched MagnaFlow. It'd be quieter and flow just as well, maybe better.

my friend had an muffler put on his integra w/ a 2.5" inlet, all they did was get like 1 1/2' of 2.5" piping and cut off some of his exhaust and welded the bigger piping on there so it would fit the muffler and extend it out so it wouldnt be all the way under the car.....sounds very good.
o yea, and he got one of the cheap burnt tip fireball mufflers off ebay for 30 bux lol.

its really wasy..

all they do is take a 2" piece of pipe and bump one end up to 2.5" and its all gravey....needless to say they have to do this with anysize muffler you bring them inorder to weld old pipe to new....
it will work and be good

Exactly...they just take a piece of pipe that's the same diameter as your stock one and they expant one end so it fits snuggly inside (or outside) the inlet of the muffler. They did that to my Celi when I got my Focuz exhaust in 2002...at a time where I knew jack **** about performance modding, hahaha. biggrin.gif

fle-online.com or hottexhaust.com -- best prices I've found. Go to MagnaFlow's website to get the parts numbers first, it'll make checking the retailers' sites a lot easier.

so the magnaflows will not fit perfect to the stock piping it will need to be welded correct? how much do you think it will cost to have it put on, since i am not a welder and dont have one to weld with.

Single weld shouldn't be too bad -- your area's pricing will be different than mine. We're short of welders, so prices are higher.
