Feeler.... I can have em made really soon!
I have made a few of these for people and i have been getting requests to make more for everyone to be able to buy one. Would you guys be interested if i made a bunch of them? I would be selling em for $50 shipped to the 48 states I can post a pic of what it would look like if you guys are interested in em. If enought people want one and pay up front i can probably make em for $40 shipped. DG -------------------- |

Thanks A test pipe will basically get rid of the catalitic converter. If you live in a state that has emissions laws and checks to make sure your car had a cat this probably isn't for you. Unless you feel like swapping it back every time you go for a smog check. -------------------- 1995 Celica GT 5 Speed Convertible

Of course there will be SOME gains. Dont expect to get more like 15 hp out of it though. Most bolt ons / hop ups dont really do much by themselves, but when used with other items they begin to make a BIG difference.

This whole post is about how I have been asked by some 6gc members to make this test pipe. Meaning that "they cound not find the pipe anywhere... so how are you finding one cheaper?" (a test pipe specifically for the 6g celica!) So.... I am offering to make them for a short time for those people whe want one. Trust me, home depot does not make this item! If home depot has pipe at all it would be for electrical insulation uses on home projects "not for exhausts". I am posting a pic on my profile so you all know what a test pipe is. Bloodrain... please go look and realize you are making yourself look kinda silly posting anything dealing with home depot making products for the celica???? you make me laugh cause i thought you were kidding at first Oh well? -------------------- |

It's not just a piece of pipe...it has welded metal plates on the end so it can bolt into a Celica...I can't think of any companies that make them for our car, and I'm sure that if you found one, it'd cost more than this. And DG's work is amazing too. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Is this to replace the manifold cat? Cause that's were mine is on a 94 2.2 GT. If I run low on money, and can't get a header, I'd like to have this if it's what I'm thinking it is.

Akimbo
This is the replacement for the cat under the seat area of the cat. It will make your exhaust a little louder and give you a few hp. The testpipe alone will not give you big power, but if you have an intake and exhaust catback system and some other mods it is a nice cheap few extra hp gain. Bigmeanbulldog55 i thought all celica's had cats in the mani and under the car?? Yours dont have one under the seat area? DG -------------------- |

DG I'm having everything removed and just running strate pipe. Only thing I was worried about is the manifold and the manifold cat. -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy
