I laugh at Hondas, humorous story Options

So I was driving home the other night on my daily backroads when I came up to a 2 way stop. The road intersects with another backroad known as "graveyard jump" (called that because its a steep dip, people like to fly over it and catch air, and on the other side of the dip is a graveyard... original i know) I look to my left and see 2 hondas in the ditch, the closest one with a crushed rear bumper and the second one with a crushed front bumper. I laugh, rev it, and go.

I think this is what happened...

Two kids were racing down this backroad. They crested the hill before the "jump" and noticed the big sign right on the jump that says "ROAD CLOSED". the civic in the front slammed on the brakes, the civic behind him ran into him, sending the civic in the front headfirst into the ditch. Try explaining that to the insurance company...

"yeah I was hit by a honda on a back road at 1:00AM right at a road closed sign... No we werent racing....."

Just thought I would share.

You know, this is one of the reasons I stopped coming to this site so much. A bunch of people who make fun of Hondas with no knowledge what so ever. Unless it's an auto or a pretty much stock D16 or D15, it's going to out run most of us. What happend to respect of what deservese it? You guys are just gelous that parts are so cheap for them, and they're so much faster.

You should see the "Tuned" Honda's (especially Civic's) around here. 90% Are a complete joke. And not faster then my Celi they dont!

Yeah, seriously, stupid people, but it's a little dumb to blame Honda's. Honestly, Honda's are really better cars then ours. I've worked on both a lot, I know what I'm talking about.

I didn't mean for it to be all trash about Hondas. I would kill to have a CRX with a built B18. I think Hondas are easier to work on as well, plus they have the aftermarket availability that we don't.

As for the accident, that is what happened, because it was my friend's brother that rear-ended the other one.

I dont think he ever once said that the honda was stupid. I think what he meant by I laugh at hondas was that he was laughing at the stereotypical teenager who owns a honda. He wasnt implying that Honda the car is a bad or unintelligent car.
