Done anything with that White 1998 GT-Four spoiler? I could deffo use that
Actually, If possible, Would you be able to give me a good straight picture of it side on? I'd be able to use the pics to line up the GT4 badge when I paint my spoiler white (just got a Silver 1998 SS-III spoiler for my white '96 GT4) -------------------- Mike W

Well it has been awhile since I've updated
Not much has changed. The car is now a daily driver ( was a weekend car ) unfortunately its too expensive to maintain 2 cars in Sydney Ive re-tinted the windows to 20% now Repainted the wheels as paint was starting to peel. and have hit the milestone the other day -------------------- 98 ST204 ZR - Black Beauty - Roaming the streets of Sydney 73 TA22 LT - Tiffany Blue - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 75 TA22 LT - Snow White - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 77 RA28 LT - Flubber Green - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 94 MX-5 NA8 Clubman - Red Racer - Looking for corners WIP Project: 69 RT40 Corona, 2nd WIP Project: 66 RT40 1600s Corona 86 Corona RT142 - Daily Driver 6GC 4 Life Baby!!! |

100000km, that is a brand new car you got (mines heading for 230000km)! I like what you've done with the car, looks pretty sweet. Unlike some others, I think the 3 posts spoiler looks good on your car. I couldn't say why but, it fits better on black 6gc than on any other color.
Was the SX a 1.8L or just another version on the 2.2L? Or was it bigger? Oh, and just as an info, when you changed the dashboard lights, was it just like plug'n'play with some kind of LEDs? Keep on the good work. This post has been edited by trebilihp: Dec 21, 2010 - 5:21 PM -------------------- -PHILI- |

Thanks trebilihp
Car still drives very well I babied it Yea I dont mind the 3 post spoiler. I guess thats why I havent changed it yet ( I do have a 2 post sitting at home) SX has the same motor, just less features - its the base model. For the dashboard lights I use a brand call Polarg. The are not LEDs -------------------- 98 ST204 ZR - Black Beauty - Roaming the streets of Sydney 73 TA22 LT - Tiffany Blue - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 75 TA22 LT - Snow White - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 77 RA28 LT - Flubber Green - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 94 MX-5 NA8 Clubman - Red Racer - Looking for corners WIP Project: 69 RT40 Corona, 2nd WIP Project: 66 RT40 1600s Corona 86 Corona RT142 - Daily Driver 6GC 4 Life Baby!!! |

For the dashboard lights I use a brand call Polarg. The are not LEDs Cool, I'd like to change the gauge's lights too, cause mine (are actually light green fading away..) And I'd like to get some withe ones, that would make the needles shine like yours! I'll check for those bulbs. How much bulbs do we need to fully replace them? It's quite funny for the SX model, cause I got an ST, and it came with the crappy 1.8L, but fully equiped... Anyways, I'm still happy with the power kit, even if the engine is a little cowy. Hey CelicaZR,
So there are 6GC'ers in Australia, they are just all in Sydney! I just read all the way through your thread, and your car looks really nice I am EXTREMELY jealous of your alarm system and power folding mirrors... that is something I definitely want to do when I have the time and money! I notice you haven't updated your thread in a little while. How is the 6GC going? Any more updates? I also wanted to let you know that a lot of your picture links have died now, including all of the amazing photo shoot ones on Page 5 that I went to see. Cya, Josh Thanks Josh There are 6GCers in Australia The alarms and its features are very cool PIA for the installer I've still got the 6GC, its just sitting in the garage under a cover I've gone back in time and started restoring 1GC It wont be going anywhere. Still fall in love with it everytime i open the garage door Not much has happened since the last update i think. Next time I wash it I'll take some more photos. I think I still have those pics on the HDD somewhere. If I have time I'll put some of them back up again. Enjoy your 6GC.
