So I was driving home tonight going 55 or so on my road to my house, which has a 50 mph speed limit, and then I saw two cats in the middle of the road right after I came over this hill. I braked pretty hard and swerved into the oncoming traffic lane in an attempt to avoid the cats, and one cat ran right, but the other ran left, and I couldn't avoid it. I hit it and killed it unfortunately, and I also screwed up the paint on the left side of my front bumper. frown.gif

As you can see, it chipped away a lot of the paint in that area, and you can't see very well, but it cracked the paint all around that area, and it's very noticable. frown.gif So now I have to get my front bumper repainted, and I'm thinking about possible alternatives or modifications that I could make to my bumper. I'm thinking of maybe getting one of those Booster Tuning front grills and putting it in there, but I've got to think about it, because I don't want to spend much money since I'm trying to save up for a swap.

Add a rotating blade to the front to take out all those animals before your bumper does biggrin.gif

Coom if you're getting it repainted... wouldn't it be worth getting a whole new front? Or are you going to get the gt4 bumper/spoiler later?
Maybe even get some custom fibreglassing on your current bumper?

Just seems that if you have to shell out the cash for the paintjob - you may as well make the most of it and delay the engine for a couple of weeks or whatever, and get a sexy nosejob!

that sucks coomer. killing a cat AND messing up your car, hard to put a positive spin on any of that. anyhoo, I agree with whats been said already. instead of just a repaint, do something aftermarket to offset the cost you know. maybe the postert front lip would be a good choice, it would look dope with your yellow.

cheers,

Pieter

It's a shame about what happened, but now you could go for a whole new look to your car or just a subtle upgrade, even a facelight bumper wink.gif
