Hi I was thinking about cutting the A/c belt to free up some power, are there any draw backs from this? Has anyone done this before? Any tips, pros cons? Thanks in advance.

Doesn't the power steering pump run on the same belt?

Yeah, unless you actually remove the AC you're not going to gain anything. Yes its on its own independent belt, but unless the AC is on it isn't using any power. You would be better off to remove all of the AC assembly to save weight, and then remove the power steering to free up some power -------------------- 1999 Celica GT
