haha i put Dirt? Aaaaaah! Where's my emergency carwash kit?!?

but thats not really true cause my car looks gross right now. It also depends on the weather, if its going to rain i dont bother washing her, but when i get in the garage i do the windows and interior clean the rims and of course i clean of my projectors with some glass cleaner tongue.gif

if its a nice day then i take her to the do-it-yourself car wash, no automatic car washes for this celi wink.gif

"My car doesn't get dirty, you insensitive clod"

I have the California Duster (As Seen on TV). I use it every morning as my car warms up. They use those things in show rooms and on hot rods... good enough for me.

It doesn't scratch your paint you paranoid freaks...

Plus it has a gaurantee against such a thing...

Why do peopel think these things scratch your paint? And Lew, I used it in front of you without any scratches and yet you still believe what you want.

I sense a no-holds-barred battle royale. Chan with his California Duster. Lew(f) with his hand sponge. I recommend Troy-style fighting (lots of jumping around).

Whoever survives please send us the video.

Now what does scratch your paint is when you take your fingers and rub all of that dirt and dust particle goodness into your paint. Makes me cringe!!!

I wash it every once in awhile. It depends when i get time, and how soon its gunna rain. It seems like when i would always wash it in the past, it would rain that night or next day, then just get crap all over it.

lmao.. thats for DUST not dirt and road grime... thats why it is used in showrooms, because they dont get road grime and dirt. and the scratches are very small and very hard to see, only after using it for a while will you really start to see it, mind you its all surface scratches that a buff job and even a standard wax job can probably hide, still, it does scratch... they just guarantee it not to because they know you cant see it... and if you were to complain i bet they wouldnt honor their guarantee, theyd most likely say that the unit did not scratch your car, you were using a dirty one and it was improperly cleaned and the dirt was what scratched your car.

If you don't let the dirt on your car sit for a long time, it'll remove the dirt just like dust...

dirt and dust are different things, i think its like 80% of dust is skin particles and other lint-type material. dirt on the other hand is very grainy and corse... very different textured materials wink.gif

So who wants to get a group by together? If we replace our body panels with this stuff:
http://physicsweb.org/articles/news/9/8/16/1?rss=2.0
we won't have to worry about scratches.

I have a cali duster and it works great like.. the day after a wash, but then it just gets rained on and ruined, so I dont wash mine unless there is going to be a streak of sun for a week or so, but that doesn't happen in washington too often...
