i thinking about getting some newer rim. Thinking between either works emotion or some volk te37 bronze.
the works emotion are 18x7.5 5x100 a set plus tire $800.00
volks te37 bronze 17x7.5 5x100 three with tire not set. $800.00
which rims should you guy recommend?
if purchase the volk then will have to order one rim and cost per rim are about 500.00 each.

Thanks Slowrider.
But havent you got 18x8.5?
I thought the maximum you could get was 7.5-8 Inches under the guard or
otherwise it will rub for 18 inches wheels?

well i found those rims on criaglist.org. a guy in san jose is sell them the volks with tire. but he only got three not all four. so i am still on the list of purchase or else he sell to the next guy in line. I really like the volks, but it cost too much to get one more rim. He first purchase for his wrx, but before putting on them. He had accident and damage his wrx. that why he wants to get rid of it. He send me some pic of the rims. it bronze 17x7.5 42 offset. the works are 18x7.5 and 42offset and bronze too. I ask the guy on the volks about lower the price. He told me the lowest he can go about 750.00.
this other guy on the wrx forms is selling some volk le37 gun metal 18x7.5 for 1600 a set. it too much for me to be spending on some rims.

volks are nice.. but +48 offset.. probably wont look good on our car..

I think it really depends on the style you're going for.. going for name brand or the look.. because there are thousands of options in rims

(just bought some enkei NTO3+M 18x8" +35 with yokohama 235/40/18 tires).. woot biggrin.gif
