I have a 97 limited ST, automatic. Mine came with the embroidered seats, rear spoiler, double din unit with tape player and CD player. It's black and has limited edition tags on the sides(near the side markers) and also on the inside near the rear view mirror. I just wished that the features would include an upgraded engine and at least sideskirts.

I have a '97 ST LE. It's metallic forest green, with spoiler and no sideskirts. I don't have embroidered seats. The seats, floor and headliner are tan, the rest black. It's pretty bad; I'm trying to replace the tan stuff with black. I have the "black chrome" badging at the front and rear, and the LE badges on the sides and inside near the mirror. I had a factory CD player with a pocket below, which I've already replaced. 15" alloys, with plenty of scuffs (previous owner), soon to be replaced. No fog lights, and the signal lenses are clear, even though the sidemarkers are amber. It's an auto, which still gives plenty of torque, but I'd like more power. I love my Celi. Can't find another car that looks half as good for any less than twice the price.

I forgot to add that the Toyota emblems on the front and back of the car are completely black instead of gold or silver. And I have a cloth interior. I think it's odd that not all 97 LE's have the same features.

All LE Celi's are ST's I believe. Or am I mistaken. THought I read it in here or something?
But anyhoo...mine is Metallic Forest Green, Automatic, 15" alloy wheels, full badge package (LE badges on the RR View mirror and on the fenders) Cloth interior, spoiler, Side Skirts (just added), CD/tape player (stock).

Wish I had: Cruise Control, more ponies mad.gif (but still love my Celi smile.gif ).

Friends joke around with me saying that the LE means limited options such as hpw, cruise control, leather, moonroof, and skirts (at that time I didn't have them). Bastards!! tongue.gif
