Well, I don't hang to much in the exterior styling forum, but I need some peoples help, so here I am. My wheels have become old and the paint is chipping and what not. I just painted the car, is was and is Teal. I'm keeping my stock wheels, there's no doubt there. What I was wanting help on was deciding a wheel color. I like the racy look, but I want to keep it looking pretty stock too. Just as nice as possable on stock wheels. If anyone could post some pics of different colors on a teal Celica, that would be cool. And if anyone has any input, please feel free to express it. I already tried to paint the hubs the stock grey, and they now look crappy. This is why I'm painting. The wheels are the 5 spoke 15 inch ones. Thanks.

Well, I think I might be doing this...

1. Remove and leave off center caps
2. Grind down edges of wheel form removed center cap
3. Paint wheel black, dull black
4. Paint brakes red
5. Put my own logo on the wheels

That sounds good....... I think black would be a good choice to go with teal

I'm bumping this. I'd kinda like to get some pictures of cars, especailly Celica's with black wheels to make sure I really want to do this. I feel this is a big commitment. Thanks.

I recommend painting them silver and keeping the caps. Good luck.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
