well since i have to change my turbo seals and stuff im going to be putting a new head gasket on too..and while doing that im going to be putting new valve springs in..and the finishing question is... what kind of valve spring could i put on..i heard supra valve spring could fit..mk3 but im not sure help me out...what is interchangeable and what isn't.....

are you changing cams if not i would just go new oem springs

what, on a 5sfe? You're not going to be reving high enough for it to matter. All the stiffer springs (which you probably can't find) will do is make it physically harder for your engine to run, thus causing you to lose power.

this is why the earlier question was asked.. are you getting other cams? then valve springs would help. SO we need to know what your intentions are for the 5s? if you go turboed valve springs help because the boost makes it harder to close the valves so a 5sfte project and/or cams would greatly help ot have springs.

well so i gues i need cam gears.right is that what you guys are sayin.. well i guess ill look into that i guess hks cam are the best i hear..i know that aem gears aren't doing so well out there...what other ideas could i fix..oh im planning on make at least 300hp so help me out....with ideas

personally i say go for the 3sgte swap, you will make 300hp on stock bottom end with lots of room for improovement.
