you have the 97 limited edition color changing emblems. They look like different colors in different light.

Could be Toyota's "black pearl" kit option. Don't know a whole lot about it, but the previous owner on my car had put the emblems from a MR2 Spyder on my car, and they are a dark gray, kind of gunmetal color, but still glossy:

Sorry about the bad lighting; it's backlit.

Can get more pics if you like. Front one you can see better, but it's under my front end mask at the mo.

Jess, I really like that emblem. Who put the sideskirts on your car? I'm just curious how they did it. Can you post some closeups?

Well, I'm not quite sure right now about the side skirts, and it's dark, so here's a crop out of one of the pictures I took awhile back. Let me know if you need more pictures, I'd be happt to take them.

Only dissapointment with the side skirts is that they weren't primed adequately or something because they are definitely peeling frown.gif . And it's such a unique color I can't just touch it up. Maybe I'll sand them down and paint them a contrasting color, but they would have to get bad for me to do that.

Thanks, I like my emblems to biggrin.gif . It confuses mechanics to no end. They're like "wait, is that a Mitsubishi?" And of course I resent that it would be compared to an inferior car. Or they call me up and say "I can't find Toyota Celica Spyder in my parts book"
