I need some help, My car is doing a crank no start. I checked all fuses and they are ok I changed my spark plugs about a week ago. I pulled out my spark plug wire then attached the spark plug to it. I then had my gf try to start the car as I watched for any spark, there was no spark. I talked to a buddy of mine and he said it was most likely my ignition coil. If so I have a 96 gt and do I need the coil with the resistor or just the coil. Any help is apprieciated, thanks.

remove the 2 bolts on top of your timing belt cover. Pull it out enough to put your hand in there. its plastic. Pull on your timing belt. if its not broken, test your coil
that your get power to it |
