Well, it was 2 years of planing parts gathering, different parts selling and buying new but now im finally finished.

As for my setup here is the list of stuff i used:

Turbo T3 garret 48/42
Header - custom made by DCW
Downpipe custom build by DCW
Custom build oil feed lines and oil distributor with oil pressure fitting
Greddy Emanage
Greddy Type-s Bov
Greddy Profec B boost controler
Mallory Rising Rate FPR
Custom modified Mitsubishi Starion Intercooler
Custom build intercooler piping (2" size)
Oil cooler relocated to the right opening of the bumper
RideHP gauges (Boost / oil pressure / oil temp)
Stock MAP sensor (no check valves no NOTHING)
Ford Probe Turbo injectors (330cc)

Stock internals of the 7A

Well, after dyno setup im running 6 psi daily and 10.5 psi on fun time smile.gif

6psi

163hp
230nm

10.5psi

193hp
263nm

I was planing on fitting 4AG pistons on 7A rods, but i got into some problems. The pistons i got i fitted on 7A rods, but 4AG pistons are full floating on rods, and 7A press fit. Wrist pin of 4AG pistons DO FIT then you press it in 7A rod, but as long as 4AG pistons are made to be full floating this means the bigger stiffnes on the wrist pin is in piston and wrist pin has to float more in rod. So basicly then i pressed pins in 7A rods, pistons there unable to move free like the stock 7A. They only moved then they are warm, so i was afraid of this to use in my setup to not damage sleves in my engine so i backed off from this.... Still this might be figured out, cuz Edo fitted his Arias 4AG pistons without any problems...

Another GOOD THING FOR YOU 7AFTE guys - NO CHECK VALVES NO NOTHING IS needed to run your turbo setup if you are running EMANAGE.

Then you change your Injectors size in Emanage, the Map sensor is fuled at about 1V. So basicly stock MAP sensor and injectors like i have (330cc) can run at about 16 PSI normaly without hitting Engine check light biggrin.gif This thing is good cuz you still have ability to normaly control all your stock maps and have more accurate adjustments.

Still i have a problem with the Oil burning, cuz under Boost i have way too much smoke comming from exhoust. Some of you said this happens cuz of the way too big oil pressure comming to a turbo... Well, i cant denide this but cant say this is true.. Cuz first of all - reducing pressure of oil going to turbo will shorten the life of it. To avoid this - i used about 14mm dimension of the drain line, and this helped me way much to reduce the smoking.before i was using about 10 mm drain line and flange of the drain line had way too small hole in it (10mm too). Cuz using way too small drain line oil doesnt comes out of the turbo fast enouth and you are blowing it out throught the seals....

As for now, the car drives fantastic...... The power is more then enouth for me for sure, cuz even on 6 psi it pulls so hard that it is incredible if you conpare it to stock 7A.....

Rods of 7A are good to hold till about 250 HP for sure, only pistons are ****ty, so if some way could be found to normaly make the 4AG pistons work on our rods (not press fit) then no problems hitting 250 mark with stock rods.

Clutch - stock clutch WOUNT hold at all. then im hitting 10 psi - i can spin my wheels even in 4 gear without a problems, but then you hit the traction and boost goes - clutch is done its starts to slip....

Well - conclusion of all this - WAY TO GO if you want some power of your 7A is a Turbo kit..... then you start your car and start driving it with the turbo on your engine - the fun and the smile is freaking incredible smile.gif

I would like to thanks for help my friend Edo who helped me to work on my setup and helped me alot to learn, Nik for being a good person and leting me know lots of good info, Kwanza who always had good answers to my Questions, FallenHero who always finds a good stuff and good info, and ofcorse Manny smile.gif

Thank you guys, im finaly running

p.s. I have lots of pics and some Dyno wids, but most of them are on Edos PC, so he will resend them to me and i will post them. I will post Dyno sheet pretty son for all of you guys.

Thanks,
Romas

NICE!.. great job, the only thing is, do you think the stock rods can handle that much power? I think over time, there just going to break. but very nice job.

well, Edo can confir what people who have WAY too much experience told then i described how the 7A rods look and then i showed example. And then i saw 1.4l honda civic with a turbo kit pushing 210hp and how do the rods of this engine looks - our rods looks 3 times stronger..... With the good setup / tune up rods will hold without a problem.

romas, i totally agree about the oil drain line, its GOTTA be big, and reletivly straight to do its job.
in my case, im using the stock 3s oil return line.
for us over here in the US, id say at the minimum we should be using at least a -10an (5/8") or better -12an(3/4) return line.
results look good!
lets see some dyno sheets!!!!! smile.gif

wow, so it would be a close race betwean Doggy and Presure2.

Presure has alittle more horsepower, but Doggy is a little lighter.

I wonder who will win?

Ok now the only problem is, no traction control. So basicaly 1 wheel drive. that much power, is it even worth doing?

What kind of race are you talking ? 0-60, 1/4 mile, ect ?

a lot will have to do with 5s and the 7a trannys syncros and gearing. The 5s gearing is longer and stronger than the 7a.

IMO a properly turboed 7a will be quicker off the line than a properly turboed 5s, but once you get into 3rd the 5s would pull away fast. Same scenario with a turboed 5s and a swapped 3s. Once you get into higher RPMs the 7afte will not be have the same pull away power as a 5sfte.

i am so excited to turbocharge my car biggrin.gif. nik, oobe, you and others have convinced me that it has plenty of potential, because i was thinking about swapping a 4agze. those numbers are amazing and oobes videos are just awesome, and i also want to keep my auto. im in the process right now of researching exactly what i want, and will begin buying parts next summer, and have it running by winter '06. im also excited because i have access to a shop where i can produce custom pieces if need be, perk of being an mech eng student smile.gif. in the meantime its all suspension. cant wait to see some vids doggy!

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Lol, im running 14' with winter tires on them smile.gif Belive me - with them no traction at all till 3 gear mid... with normal 17' everything would be perfect, but still, upgraded clutch would be a 1 thing to go, cuz now my stock one is slipping after few hard drives...
