Very Pretty, very nicely done. Coulda gone with different turns, but otherwise very clean. I'd hate to actually have to caynon carve in it though, there goes all that nice shiny paint.

oddly enough, this pic made me fall in love with the celicas:


but then when i was searching for a 5th gen on autotrader... i found a 1994 that was listed wrong as a 93... i could no longer settle for a 5th gen.

Mine was in the dealer room, all cherried out. It was closing so the guy was like "Hey, take it home over the weekend for a test drive"

Well as you can tell, I never bought it back. Choose it over some integra's and mustangs, cause damn, gotta have me convertible and I love the way it drives! That and everyone has integras and tangs.

I'd have to say the reason I got a Celi...was my uncle had a 89 MR2...Loved the Mark 4 Supra...but course couldn't afford that :-p...and saw the 6th gen Celi...fell in love.

ya, I realized the celica with a 3sgte engine has a lot of potential. I'm looking at it as a long term deal. The 3sgte can be upgraded without limit basically so I dont see there being a gap between its performance and stock sports cars that will come out.

Also I imagine that I will redo the body every 4 years as car styles change. One day when I'm an old fart and have make lots of money, I'll totally redo the car, everything in carbon fiber custom molded (alll body panels), suspension, what not, In 10 years from now my celica wont even look like a celica, might look more like the new supra coming out. freakky eh?

oh yea, I still think with the right body kit the 5th gen looks better then the 6th and 7th gen, There was one wide body kit available in japan for $3,000 for the 5th gen that made it look totally awesome.

second me on that, Hate the celica rear bumper. and the bottom ridge that sticks out is the worst part.
